Two Nineteen (2009)
On February 19, 2009 I recorded roughly 4 hours worth of music. Some of the pieces were completely improvised (One, Four and Seven), others borrowed pre-composed themes which were then augmented through improvisation (Five, Six and Eight). The recordings were spliced and edited down to create the 6 pieces you can hear below. Their names correspond with their chronological order in the recording process. These pieces were submitted for the 2009 RPM Challenge under the title Two Nineteen.
